The Gathering 2009: HUGE Success

There was a unbelievable turnout for the Gathering 2009 at Woodburn Miners Club. Crowds got in early for a fantastic afternoon of family entertainment.

Fans of Scottish Music were treated to great sets by Gordon Pattullo, Newtongrange Pipe Band and Black Diamond FM’s very own Tartan Lass Sharon Colvin.

Stewart and Callum Duncan (winners of Dalkeith’s Got Talent) drummed up a storm entertaining the audience as well as Sam Wylie and Understated Youth winners of Nittens Got Talent.

The packed hall was given two magnificent performances by local singer songwriter Roy Henderson and Liverpool based Steve O'Connor.

The afternoon’s entertainment was compared by various Black Diamond presenters keeping everyone entertained in between acts.
