Thank you,That was the Weather report !

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the contributors who helped supply information on the road conditions over the very difficult weather conditions we have had since before Christmas.

Personally I feel our volunteer presenters who in some cases struggled through blizzards and travelled on dreadful roads to put out their programmes and information,did a fantastic job and we should be very proud of their input.

We would also like to praise the council gritters and council employees whose sterling work kept Midlothian moving,even though they have received unjustified and unwarranted criticism for the excellent way that they kept the main trunk roads open,under incredible conditions, throughout what was a holiday period for most people.

We would like to thank our individual listeners who contributed regularly by phoning and e-mailing in with information,which we were very grateful to receive,so that we could broadcast it, in order to do our bit to help keep our community informed.
One thing was very apparent over this difficult period was that the elusive and rare commodity called Community spirit is very much alive and well in Midlothian.
