Steve Burnett joined Black Diamond FM at the beginning of the station’s history, making tea and answering the phone. He was talked into trying out presenting by Steve Hamilton (Radio DJ and TV Presenter).

Steve describes himself as a bit of a history geek. His career includes working at Edinburgh Castle as a Guide and later as Esplanade Manager. He’s now retired and likes to play golf (badly, he admits).
