Ian Smith: Craft, Review

Ian Smith has been a busy guy, he’s spent the run up to the 2018 festival folding hundreds of origami cranes.

As much as ‘Craft’ is centred around origami (and some interesting facts around it that I never knew) Ian is full of great anecdotes and stories, all as in previous years with the assistance of a multimedia projection behind him. The projection often completes the punchline for him or adds a extra chuckle in the setup.

Ian is at home interacting with the audience who he has on side through the whole show, managing to improvise some material that often gets a bigger laugh than some of the planned gags.

Expect fun audience interaction, ‘live streaming’ and papercuts.
