Gein’s Family Giftshop: Volume 2, Review

The Pleasance Courtyard | Aug 5-30 | 22:45 | £ 9.50 / 8.50

I seem to have a thing this year for sketch shows with dark twists. Gein’s Family Giftshop definitely fit that category with their second volume. James Meehan, Kath Hughes, Ed Easton are the gym kit wearing troop who lead us through a maze of weird sketches covering everything, including “blood, poo and bumholes”. As you can guess there is some childish humor in the show, but also snuck in is some quite smart comment all of which will have you chuckling.

If you need a bit of dark comedy in the final days of the Fringe then pop into Gein’s Family Giftshop and tell them Chris sent you, they’ll reach to the top shelf for you.

Gein’s Family Giftshop: Volume 2 is on at The Pleasance Courtyard from the 5th – 30th of August at 22:45 for information and tickets visit www.pleasance.co.uk
