Background

Ed Book Festival LogoWith over 700 events planned you can see why the Edinburgh International Book Festivals director Nick Barley is describing this years programme as a ‘celebration of an extraordinary generation of talent’

Featured in a strand of music events called ‘Making Music’ will be a series of interviews hosted by author Ian Rankin with pop legends Tim Burgess and Peter Hook along with talks from Cerys Matthews, David and Carrie Grant, Daniel Rachel and Vic Galloway.

Don’t forget the 42 novels, novellas and short story collections that will debut this year too.

The Edinburgh International Book Festival runs from Saturday 10 August to Monday 26 August 2013. Full details of the programme are available today at www.edbookfest.co.uk and tickets go on sale on Friday 28 June at 8.30am.
