Paul Nisbet

A deep passion for all things Trance and Techno, Paul Nisbet started dj-ing in his late teens, practising relentlessly in his bedroom, dj-ing in miners clubs across Midlothian before graduating to night clubs across Scotland and beyond.

Paul held residencies at Absolute (Studio 24/The Venue) and Compakt (Cabaret Voltaire) for a number of years whilst also being fortunate enough to play Clubs/Venues like Colours, Nuklear Puppy, Boombox, Arches, The Ice Factory, Liquid Rooms, Ingleston & Room @ The Top amongst others. Over the years he supported artists across the Trance and Techno spectrum from Above & Beyond and Tiesto to Joey Beltram and Gary Beck.

Now a father of two and folically challenged, Paul still invests a lot of his time searching out music he is passionate about and aims to bring a slightly different take on underground dance music to Black Diamond FM.
