Our own snooker champion Michael Leslie has been taking part in his first event in his European Tour since he retained his professional status. In the opening round of the Riga Open, Michael’s opponent, Dublin’s Fergal O’Brien, beat Michael 4-3

Michael turned Pro in 2012 with his best ranking performance being in the last 48 in the Australian Goldfields Open in 2014.

His money list earning for 2012/13 and 2013/14 was £11,443

Fergal’s money list earnings for 2012/13 and 2013/14 was £774,089.
