Lasswade RFC in Division 2 are now in sixth place after at the weekend playing against Hillhead/Jordanhill lost out with a final score of 34-24.
Dalkeith RFC were up against Hawick Linden and in their second league win this season came out good with a 52-10 victory.
Penicuik RFC away from home won 17-5 playing against Trinity Accies keeping their place at the top of East Two

A second round EOS League Cup tie saw the pairing of two form teams at New Moor Park, as a Linton Hotspur team who took the scalp of Premier side Edinburgh University in the previous round and who are riding high in the third division, hosted another Premier side.
