EIFF 2017: Story Of A Girl

Background

Last night Kyra Sedgwick presented her directorial debut to a Edinburgh Film Festival audience at the dominion theatre. 

The film follows the story of Deanna and the turmoil in her life after a underage sex tape goes viral in the small town that she lives in. The story picks up three years later as she’s looking for summer work so she can save up and escape her broken relationships at home. 
 
We were on the red carpet to chat with the stars of the film, including Kyra’s husband Kevin Bacon who pays Deanna’s new boss. 
 

Kyra Sedgwick & Kevin Bacon will be taking part in a special ‘in person’ event at The Filmhouse tonight and Story Of A Girl will be shown again at the festival on Saturday the 24th. 

 

The Edinburgh International Film Festival runs until the 2nd of July, keep an eye on blackdiamondfm.com for updates.
