Our events team are out on the road hosting Christmas light switch-ons around Midlothian. The Midlothian Young People Awards Ceremony recently took place at Rosslyn Chapel. Black Diamond FM was there to hear from some of the successful young people, Midlothian’s Provost Debbie McCall and The Lord Lieutenant of Midlothian, Lt Col Richard Callander. Young adults from Midlothian Youth Platform have been interviewed by Alan and will feature on The Breakfast Show on Wednesday 18 October at 09:30am. MYP offer young people in Midlothian a collective youth voice. It is an independent and youth-led organisation free from influence, and where young people can give their views to policy makers without hindrance, fear or barriers.
