The Comedy Zone, Review

Many comics have become successful from being apart of the Comedy Zone (Russel Kane, Russell Howard, Al Murray and Dave Gorman), however, make room for some fresh, young talent!
Out of the 4 comedians who performed on the night, Ahir Shah completed the night and made it worth while. He takes to the stage with great confidence and more hyper than a child surrounded with sweets.

Set in the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, something which will go down as one of my top five moments of fringe coverage happened on the night. A bunch of tipsy women sitting in the front row found Ahir "unfunny", so they decided to have a wee chat to each other. Ahir picked up on this and had to explain most of his jokes to the women in a slow and clear voice. This brought roars of laughter from the crowds but for the women, it brought shame and rose red faces. Ahir has found his talent and deserves to be on the Pleasance stage.

Overall the show is worth watching and definitely worth the price. Watch out Russell Howard, Ahir is not far behind!
I give this act 4 stars.

The Comedy Zone will be performing at Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh, from 8th August - 26th August
