Pete Firman – Scoundrel, Review

Background

Rating: ★★★★★
5-26th August @ The Pleasance Courtyard

Pete FirmanStar of BBC 1’s The Magicians is back in Edinburgh this year for the Fringe Festival!

“Jokes and Tricks” is the deal Pete brings to the Pleasance stage, with his illusions which are simply impressive. Prepare for crowds to pack into the Pleasance towers for a mind-blowing hour of exciting stunts, tricks and banter!

Pete’s interaction and connection with the audience brings about some of the best moments of the performance.

It’s puzzling how he makes each trick look simple, yet stylish. Guaranteed to make you attempt some of the talented showman’s tricks at home.

From a young age, Pete has been a natural entertainer and his show takes a little look at his childhood, specifically his early days of performing magic. His hilariously funny one liner’s adds to the gripping performance and ensures the audience leave with a smile.

This year’s fast-paced show includes an unexpected, slick improvisation involving the audience, which will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Pete has topped last year’s show with another impressive performance, therefore I recommend this as a must-see at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
