Swiss Lips – U Got The Power, Review

The five piece band are set to release their debut album this summer – previewing their new single track ‘U Got The Power’.

The Manchester based band have only been going since 2011, but are doing rather well for themselves through touring with artists and performing free gigs across the country.

Previously Swiss Lips supported Bastille on their UK tour last year, then going on to support Ladyhawke.

The self-made 80’s themed music video has stormed YouTube with over 400,000+ views and is being talked about on several online blogs.

Comparisons have already been made to the likes of MGMT, Friendly Fires and it won’t be long until people start to pick up on this band.

I instantly had to have the catchy indie-pop tune on repeat after it sounding similar to a Foster The People record.

Swiss Lips are preparing their debut album, scheduled for release in July – I cannot wait to hear more from this talented band.
