A place in final of the South Challenge Cup for Whitehill Welfare

Final Place

Last night another Midlothian team had success when Whitehill Welfare played against Spartans at Ferguson Park in Rosewell. The final will be played at East PefermilL on MAY 22nd. Goals were scored by Connor McGregor in the first 2 minutes, Second goal when Mickey Bruce with a header over his own goalkeeper. The third goal just 5 minutes before half time when Alan Brown scored for the Spartans. From a corner kick by Kean, Mcregor scored to take the lead to 3 goals, Spartans went down to 10 men when Bruce brought down Andy Martin in the box near the end of the game, the resulting penalty finished off the game for Whitehill Welfare with a final score of 4-.
