First day at Commonwealth Games

Background

Yesterday was the start of the athletes competing for the medals in the Commonwealth Games. The top country was England taking 17 medals in total, 6 Gold, 7 Silver, 4 Bronze, second was Australia who walked away with 15 medals, 5 Gold, 3 silvers and 7 Bronze, now Scotland in third position taking 10 medals, 4 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 Bronze.
The first gold was won by Edinburgh’s judoka, Kimberly Renick in woman’s under 48 kg Commonwealth Games Final
