At this time of the year when the local junior football season comes to an end, we see plans forming for next season.
One of our Local 5 Junior teams, Dalkeith Thistle, after Brian McNaughton left the club, have appointed a new coach, Jamie Burrell.
Coming from teams like, Craigroyston and Bonnyrigg Rose, Jamie brings a wealth of experience to the club.
It was close, down to goal difference and being to being promoted to the Super League for the first time.
Dalkeith Thistle will be hoping for promotion next season after signing 14 existing players for next years team
