With the football season coming to a close we have seen some fantastic football here in Midlothian at the home games and also away games as well with a few still to come.
Our Local 5 junior football teams here in Midlothian are, Newtongrange Star, Arniston Rangers, Dalkeith Thistle, Bonnyrigg Rose and Penicuik Athletic.
Newtongrange Star have 3 more games to play in the league, one of them tonight where Newtongrange Star are playing at home against Linlithgow rose 7.15 KO
Arniston Rangers beat Jeanfield 1-0 in their last league game of the season.
Dalkeith Thistle in their final league game of the season with an outside chance of either automatic promotion or playoff place beat Dundonald 3-1
Bonnyrigg Rose finished their season last Saturday with a disappointing loss to Armadale which resulted in a 2-1 defeat.
Penicuik Athletic lost out to Linlithgow Rose in the Fife and Lothians Cup semi-final 3-2,
they have a game tonight in the East Super League when they play away from home against Camelon with a 7.15 KO

A Midlothian derby to end the year brought out a healthy crowd at New Victoria Park as almost 400 turned up to watch Newtongrange Star hosting their great rivals Arniston Rangers.
