Without kicking a ball last week Lasswade Rugby Club gained promotion to the BT National League Division 2.
It all rested on the result between Champions Dumfries and St Boswells which resulted in
25-4.
Finishing on 85 points and 4 points behind Dumfries, Lasswade won 16 out of their 22 games and now will be playing against Preston Lodge, Peebles and Biggar.
