The Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games

What a spectacular event last night, colourful right to the end, finishing with the fireworks. It was great to see all the athletes from various countries and all the other volunteers taking part in the opening ceremony in Glasgow. A special mention here for all the people who are involved in organising such a great event not just in Glasgow but here in Scotland, thanks,

There was certain parts of the ceremony which came under question last night, but let’s not forget what the Commonwealth Games is all about, athletes taking part in their sport, with a dream andhoping for a medal, and a gold one at that.
