U/13 British Cycle Speedway Championships 12th July 2014

At the weekend the British Cycle Speedway Championships was held at Redbraes Park in Edinburgh. Riders and family travelled from Sheffield, Bury, Ipswich, Poole, Leicester, Swindon, just to race for this title. Around a hundred people were at the event on Saturday with the first tapes up at 1pm. This was an exciting time for the Edinburgh Falcons and the visiting spectators to watch the riders battle it out for the title. The winner Kieran Swanson, after a restart in the race, was named the British Champion. Great news for the Edinburgh Falcons as this is the first time they have a British Champion in their team.
